What Goes Up, Must Come Down

Senna loves to draw. Fine by me … but can’t she do it on paper ?

My mom said ‘You deserve it’ , because OBVIOUSLY I have painted on the wallpaper when I was 2 years old. But .. I mean, that wallpaper was just wayyy to boring. Hmm, maybe the freezer is boring too. Ah well ….

This week the weather was nice. Not to hot , not to cold. I could take Luca and Senna outside in the garden !

Luca was in the campingcrib and … as you can see, enjoying herself. She was putting her face to the side of the crib and going from the top to the bottom … sqeeuzing her face to the side. Than making a weird noise … This made me laugh so loud.

Eventually I decided to put it on camera … and than you know. Either your kid stops doing it … or the camera isn’t quick enough to capture it. Anyway … after like 25 shots, I managed to get 2 ‘right’.

See what I have to live with ….

Yesterday I visited a good friend of mine and she told me her son is completely into this funny guy. I ‘know’ him and indeed he is funny. Her son showed me this at YouTube. I ( already knowing it ) still had a laughing fit.

The Funny guy is called ‘Jochem Meyer’. I tried to get tickets to his show a few times, but it isn’t easy. And … didn’t get them … unfortunately.

Here Jochem Meyer talks about making breakfast in bed for his mom. He makes it and finds his mom still sleeping ….
He wonders how to wake her up and thinks maybe a quote of Shakespeare could help. Though, he figures … that might freak her out.
Than he claims there are songs to get people to sleep … but NO song to wake someone up properly. So, his gift to his mom is THIS wake up song.

My cousine got a new house since a while and we promised to come and take a peek at it. We set a date and the day before Sander asked me for her address to print out the route to her home.

The next day we took off, 1,5 hours trip ! We arrive, without a mistake, at the street where she lives. The conversation between me and my husband.

Sander : So, tell me, what number does she live on ?

Me : Ahm, I dunno … you needed the addy for the planner, so I figured you would know !!!!

S : Heheh, well, which house shall we pick ? Anyway .. no problem, just call her ..

Me : Huhum … yeah, IFFFF I had her phonenumber !!!!

S : Okay, so … shall we randomly pick houses and ring their bells ? Wahahahah .. we ALWAYS do this ! ( and sadly, he is right )

M : We can go to my aunt & uncle’s house  ( her mom and dad ) … I know where they live LOL. It is not far … , Well, let’s try to call my mom first .. maybe she can help us.

Mom : Yeah

Me : Hi mom …

Mom : Hey ? Shouldn’t you be at your cousine by now ?

Me : We kind of are …. though … we are at her street … but we don’t know the number of her house LOL

Mom : Hehehe – what else is new -, well, wait … btw, you are in luck, I just got home from the groceries. Okay, here is it … number … ( so and so , not gonna mention it here ! HA ! )

Me : THANKS, okay, gonna go now and take off to her house.

When we drive up the driveway of her house … she is already outside … watching for us. So, in the end … we would have found her anyway, PFEW !

The rest of the day was very nice … Senna ate some chocolate easter eggs … wiped her hands at the WHITE chair of my cousine ( yawn ) … we went to the Burger King afterwards, where Luca pulled a Coca Cola XL all over me ( sjees ) … and drove home with my pants down, because it was soaking wet.

All to say ‘it was a NICE day anyway’ LOL !!!

So, I am blond … I am so happy about that … it gives me a good reason to excuse myself for PLENTY of stupid mistakes !

Here is one, and GOSH I hope I am not the only one doing this …

Often I sent mails to people with freshly taken pics of my kids. And E-VE-RY time I do that … I make a nice mail .. sent it off and

FOR-GET TO AT-TACH THE PICS !!!!

E-VEEE-YYYY TIME ! Ya think I learn ? Noooo way ! Nada … nothing … doesn’t stick.

But, maybe I am doing better than before, because at LEAST I discover it before one of the people mails me back saying ‘what pics ?’.

She got nominated for worst actress as well as for best actres. And … how she did it .. she did it, but she won both !
And being a sport … she went to get the Razzie. I had such a laugh due to her speech. She just rocks !!!

I already have a ‘bite me’-day today … so anyone who slightly bothers me will really get it.
Knowing this, I was cycling to the shops to do some groceries. I park my bike there against such cycle-parkings. I have 2 kids with me on the bike  ! The ‘rule’ with such bikeparkings is .. ONE bike against each side of the parking-thingie. Now, that is not hard to remember, right ? YA THINK !

When I come back with 2 kids ( a 10 months old and a 2 y.o. ) I see someone has parked her bike right next to mine. Leaning ON MY BIKE. More like this pic and than my bike is somewhere in the middle …

Than already many things cross my mind ..
I mean, I have 2 kidsseats at my bike. Anyone can think that that MIGHT mean I have 2 kids with me. And how am I suppose to get them on my bike … when that one is leaning against it !!!!
I have to wait until that lady appears … and after a few minutes she is there. I am there … holding my 10 months old and 2 y.o. next to me.
She gets her bike … says nothing.

Me : Can I say something ?
She : What ?
Me : I am not that thrilled you parked your bike against mine …
She : Oh …
Me : You can see , due to the bike , I am a mom … so I am suppose to wait until you come back ? Where do you get off parking your bike against another bike ? You know you should not do that !
She : I wasn’t gone that long …
Me : Soooo ? What difference does THAT make ? WHY did you park it against another bike… who does that ? There is plenty of room ! Even when you are gone just a few minutes, for me .. HOLDING a 10 months old, that is LONG. Besides the fact I should not be the one explaining myself to YOU ! Why did you do this ????
She : Uh … yeah, well … sorry ????
Me : Sorry ? Are you mocking me by using it as a question ????? Are you really standing here and mocking me in MY FACE !!!
She : …. ( now she gets it … I am serious )
Me : You better go now, because you are realllllllllyyyy pissing me off ! And remember my bike well, NEVER put yours against it anymore, you won’t live to see yours if you do. GET IT ?

And there she went … gosh … I do hope she will think again before ever doing that again. Sjeeess !!! I have such a ‘bite me’ day … whooohooo !

Yesterday I went to a group called ‘de wereldband’ ( English Worldband ). They are really good. they sing, act and play sooo many instruments.

I found this video at YouTube. The first 10 seconds you can’t hear anything yet … and the best part is at the end when the second 3 men come up. They start ‘throwing’ with one of them.

This morning I decided to make oatmeal-cookies with Senna. I have been wanting to make them for a while.

Senna loved to make the star, doll and flower into the dough ! She had a good time.

After they were baked and cooled down she got grenadine and a cookie. It took her nearly half an hour to start eating it ( she chose a starcookie ). She just wanted to look at it. And might I add, she had a flaming fit when I started eating mine ! I had a doll .. haha and she got angry I was ‘eating’ the ’snowman’. Hahaha, serves me right ! Hehehe.

I can sooo dance … I know this dance by HEART ! Don’t judge me for it !

And I think the tubbies invented linedancing !!!
